AndroGel Lawsuit Update 2018

AndroGel was promoted as a remedy to reverse issues such as low sex drive and fatigue in older aged men. The Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") approved it in 2000, with AbbVie profiting over $1.15 billion in AndroGel sales by 2012. Soon after that milestone, the biopharmaceutical company was served with numerous lawsuits alleging a lack of warning of AndroGel's negative side effects and complications.

Now more than 7,000 lawsuits have been filed against biopharmaceutical company AbbVie, alleging a range of injuries including heart attacks, lower sperm count, strokes, and blood clots as a result of taking AndroGel. Litigation has been consolidated in federal court with settlement negotiations on the horizon.

Our attorneys are currently investigating potential AndroGel lawsuits for a variety of injuries. However, the litigation is well underway and will culminate at some point in the near future. It is important to act quickly if you or someone you know has been affected by taking AndroGel.
